Directions:

.) Take your large embroidery hoop and hot glue a 12 inch strip of ribbon to the hoop, leaving a small amount of ribbon at the top to wrap over the top of the hoop.

.) Now glue down the excess ribbon by wrapping it and securing it to the interior of the hoop.

.) Repeat the first step, alternating ribbon colors and textures, creating a pattern, until the entire hoop is covered.

.) Secure a piece of ribbon around the inside perimeter of the hoop with hot glue, hiding any excess, uneven or frayed pieces.

.) Take your string and simply knot it onto the hoop in 3 even spaces locations at the height you prefer.

.) Pull the three pieces of string and knot them together, creating a perfect first layer to your chandelier!

.) Repeat the previous steps for your second, smaller hoop.

.) This should leave you with two hoops. Carefully, evenly space and attach the strings from the smaller hoop to the large hoop. Be sure to adjust the distance between the two levels, determining the overall length you would like your chandelier to be.

.) Now you will have a lovely 2 tiered chandelier, perfect for your party. We chose to use our DIY ribbon chandelier to accent our Belle inspired princess party!

Thank you Kristen and Missy for your beautiful DIY. I definitely want to make a ribbon chandelier for my daughter’s room. She would love it hanging above her bed.
