{DIY} How I Carved These Cute Pumpkins!
Honestly, I've never been good at carving pumpkins. Mine always turn out looking so juvenile, it's a little embarrassing. :)
So yesterday I decided to try out pumpkin carving templates. I don't know why I'd never thought of this before, maybe because I thought they'd be hard and weren't worth the money. Well these I got for FREE from HP and they were super easy to use and look how awesome my pumpkins turned out!
Quick and Easy Printable Halloween Decorations
We are definitely getting into the Halloween spirit at our house, so I wanted to find a fun project my daughter and I could do together yesterday.

Chris has helped coordinate two showers for them in the DC area along with Amy Belle Isle from Stem Parties, who is Chief Event Organizer. The latest shower was held in October at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and boy did they do a great job!

Of course I had to ask Laura if she'd put together a tutorial for us on how she made them, and she so kindly said yes! So here it is...
Mad Scientist Party Ideas
I'm loving the trend of Mad Scientist parties. They work for a boy or a girl, the experiments are cool (plus they're a built-in party activity), and they celebrate the geek in all of us.
