Instant Pot Orange Chicken RecipeIngredients:
- 4-5 chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce
- ½ orange marmalade
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons orange juice, divided
- ¼ teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- Chopped green onions
- Orange zest
Cut the chicken breast into cubes, make sure the pieces are not too thin.
Combine the BBQ sauce, soy sauce and 1 tablespoon orange juice in a small bowl, mix to combine. Place the chicken and BBQ sauce mixture in the Instapot and stir. Close the Instapot lid and set the pressure valve to seal. High pressure cook for 4 minutes.
Release the pressure before opening the Instapot lid. Combine 1 tablespoon orange juice with 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the Instapot. Set the Instapot to saute function. Fold the orange marmalade, orange zest, garlic, and sesame seeds into the chicken.
Serve orange chicken over steamed white rice. Garnish with green onions and fresh orange slices.
