FOR UPGRADES, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE WITHOUT DISCUSSING WITH SHOP OWNER...Unless you're purchasing the ''Gift Wrap'' upgrade (see below), so we can discuss and agree on the customization and cost before you purchase from this upgrade.

This listing is to cover various upgrades that come up as customers request various customizations and adaptations, such as:

1. an inlaid polished stone or two (avg. cost is $15-20 per stone)
2. a design of copper and/or brass metal studs, nails and flattened wire (cost varies)
3. a pin put in the braced handle of a cane to hold the wrist strap up ($5)
4. finger grooves carved into handgrip area ($15)
5. flashlight or compass added to top (cost varies)
6. combi spike added to bottom ($25)
7. service of gift wrapping, including note on greeting card (avg. cost is $15 for walking staff; $10 for cane; $5 for anything else)
8. add brace (extra piece to support handle) to existing non-braced cane ($25)
9. put knob on top of walking stick or hiking cane (avg. cost is $15-25)
10. make cane handle more like a T (cost varies)
11. wrap paracord on cane leg under handle purely for decorative purpose ($15)
12. adding other bling, etc. (cost varies)

We're generous in giving combo discounts when several upgrades are added.
Examples:
A regular polished stone inlay is approx. $15 (with exception, depending on the stone), but if you get 2 regular stone inlays, we'll charge $25 instead of $30.
A paracord hand grip = $20 and suede or paracord wrist strap = $20, but if you get both, it's $35 instead of $40.

2. if it's for boy, girl, man, or woman, or for a birthday or Christmas, etc., and I'll try to match the wrapping paper with the recipient and occasion (though not guaranteed, so if not, it will be an all purpose wrapping...with ribbons and a bow added, of course).

HOW WRAPPED: All walking sticks are wrapped with brand now foam pipe insulation or bubble wrap, and THEN wrapped with wrapping paper. Non-hiking stick items are packed as usual before adding wrapping paper. All items with wrapping paper are then tied up with nice ribbon given those curly cue ends and a bow, taboot, with a nice greeting card written nicely with a message you tell me to write. Wrapped hiking sticks are then put a sturdy box I make myself for each stick, and other items are double-boxed.

PRICE OF GIFT WRAP SERVICE: FYI, normally this is something people just add as an upgrade when checking out, but the max Etsy allows me to charge is $5. But since our walking sticks are such a large package, that's a LOT of wrapping paper, plus ribbons and a nice greeting card__not to mention the time it takes to wrap such a large item.

NOTE: If you just mark your purchase as "Gift", then we won't wrap it. Marking as 'Gift' just means we won't put the price on the invoice (and we'll put a gift message on the invoice for no extra charge instead, if you request it).
