Strong but kinda thin, so best for small or medium hands, this lightweight, one-of-a-kind (OOAK) cane is almost straight, and adorned with many natural wooden diamonds. Complete with a strong, braced handle you can always count on. Is currently 34.5 inches, but we can shorten at no charge.

♦ INLAID: a polished sandstone adorned the front, two metal feathers adorn the sides, and there's a dreamcatcher on the front that gives you a little jingle sound with each step.
♦ JINGLING SOUNDS: It's a slight sound, and not like a bell, so not overwhelming in my opinion, but it does jingle with each step. If one is sensitive to sounds or annoyed by them at times, either we could pin down the two parts that move, or you can yourself with a small tack or short, tiny nail.
♦ FEATHERS: Besides being a finger guide, the feathers on the side give the fingers something to fondle, like a worry stone or fidget spinner ;)
♦ AMAZING NATURAL COLORS, all made by nature. No stains or paints added; coated with just clear poly. The diamonds made by nature are gorgeous. And Pa uses a cane daily and assures you that neither the diamonds nor the inlays impede the grip. Rather, they make hand guide or finger fidgets.
♦ STRAIGHT-ISH: unusually straight, at least for our diamond willow, which is hard to find in the woods when hunting for sticks to harvest...most have more curves than this one.

This walking cane has a few curves, making it extra intriguing, but the stick stands straight for the most part (ie, comes back to center and isn't a bow or arc) and works great as a daily mobility aid. (I use one daily__crooked canes work great and have marvelously charming character.)

♦ DIAMONDS: Covered with natural wooden diamonds 💎 with all sorts of wonderful twisting curves and a variety of tan, caramel, dark brown and reddish brown colors.
♦ SOME DEEP...This stick has a few particularly deep diamonds (although it's difficult to capture the many curves and forms in the photos--but they're there,) so I feel I must mention it. They're beautiful alone, and also perfect for embedding more stones or charms into them, if you'd wish.

This walking cane is a OOAK (one of a kind) item made from native northern Minnesota diamond willow tree, and handcrafted by Tim P., a local, experienced artisan.

♦ But preferences vary, sooo.....
♦ If you've never had a walking cane, measure while wearing 👞🥿walking shoes, have your arms hang at your side. Note where your elbow is at. Measure from the floor to your elbow, and subtract a couple of inches.

Since this is wood, and we're not a factory, I make no guarantees about the future condition of this walking stick, but CAN GUARANTEE it was strong without any large cracks when I harvested, cured, coated, listed, and packed it for shipping after it sells, inspecting it at each step along the way.
PLEASE INSPECT 🕵️♂️🔎 ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT before each use to make sure no cracks or weaknesses have developed, since wood does change over time.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS

♦ Bring it inside when you're not using it, and maybe wipe dirt or water off of it with a dry cloth or damp cloth if needed....when you can.
♦ Being left outside for a little while every now and then is no big deal. I've had the same stick I use daily for many years, and I leave it out sometimes--just not too often.
♦ These are made for the outdoors, but the clear poly is not UV tolerant like marine epoxy.
♦ Should not be left in the sun or extreme heat or cold for days and weeks on end. Otherwise, the same thing will happen to your lovely walking stick that happens to wood furniture left outside in all sorts of weather.
♦ Just bring it indoors when not in use, and the 5 coats of poly I've put on will help protect your walking stick and help you keep it nice looking and useful for many years.

WRIST STRAP

♦ Strong, braided wrist straps are made of 550 paracord, soft genuine leather suede or braided jute rope.
♦ Suede is a THINNER strap, just 2/8'' - 3/8'' wide, and the 550 Paracord lanyard is THICKER at approx. 3/4''-7/8'' wide.
♦ Strap is made of 8-10 ft of cord, suede or jute and is approx. 13 in. when open, and 6 in. when closed, with extra long tassels you can cut yourself after you adjust to fit.
♦ Some people add charms or beads to the tassels, or just leave them plain.

💠 BENEFITS OF A WRIST STRAP
♦ Ensures you don't drop your cane if you lose your grip
♦ Allows you to let go of your walking stick without dropping it if you need to use your hand for something else
♦ Hang your cane on a coat hook when you get indoors
♦ You could cut or untie the strap (but not too easily) and use it for many camping/survival uses (too many uses to list here). Paracord has 7 inner strands that are very useful, as well.
💠 HOW IT'S BRAIDED
♦ PARACORD: I braid the paracord lanyard myself with a loose sinnet cobra knot made of 4 strands of cord (4 strands in tassel). Ends are slightly burned after cutting to seal them, so inner strands of paracord don't ride up, or so poly doesn't unravel.
♦ SUEDE: Wife braids the soft, strong, brown suede leather with a simple braid of three strands (6 strands in tassel).
💠 HOW WRIST STRAP ADDED
...TO BRACED HANDLED CANES:
♦ O-ring or D-ring added by first drilling and gluing in a metal pin near the corner where brace meets handle (this prevent strap from sliding down the brace, out of reach)
