NOTE Re: UNIQUE HAND GRIP:
♦Even though there are several diamonds and insect markings at the top 10-11 inches, the top (and the entire stick) is solid and strong.
♦The indents don't impede, but rather they make great finger grips and hand guides. All are sanded to have rounded edges so it's comfy to hold.
♦The other side had no indents or bumps, and is super smooth, which is perfect for the palm to rest on comfortably for an extended time.

HAS CURVES: This walking staff has a few curves, making it extra intriguing, but the stick stands straight for the most part and works great as a hiking staff or walking cane. (I use one all the time and can verify that crooked hiking sticks work great and have marvelously charming character.)

This walking staff is a OOAK (one of a kind), handcrafted item made from native northern Minnesota diamond willow tree, and handcrafted by me, a local, experienced artisan.

No stains, paints or colors added__just fives coats of clear poly finish.

The natural colors are spectacular, looking so much better in person than I'm able to capture with photos.

DIAMONDS:
Covered with an exceptional array of diamonds, with all sorts of wonderful twisting curves and a variety of tan, caramel, dark brown and reddish brown colors.

INSECT MARKINGS:
Has a many insect and/or worm hole markings on this stick that help create a unique design, add character to the stick, and add another dimension to the story of how efficient nature works.

This can probably hold more weight, but I wouldn't want to guarantee that since each piece of wood is different. I just imagine someone putting ALL their weight on this, while jumping, so adding speed velocity to the pounds per square inch pressure, and considering this isn't that thick PLUS it's curvy just adds to its bendability.
So since I'm 200 lbs. and test each stick to make sure it's sturdy, just by trying to bend it, but I don't run and jump with it, and I can't test for much more weight than I am myself, I figure I'd be conservative on weight limit for this stick for safety reasons, but you can judge best, knowing how you'll use it.

IF YOU NEED A STICK THAT WILL HOLD MORE WEIGHT: Please message us and let us know the weight limit you need. I'd be happy to guide you toward sticks in our shop that are thicker, OR we most likely have one such stick in stock but just haven't listed it yet. Or I could cut a few inches off a walking stick you like, as that always makes it stronger.

** Engraving may add and extra 1-2 days processing. Let me know if you're in a hurry though, and I'll see if I can accommodate this labor intensive upgrade into my schedule. Wood burned engraving is done by hand, not by a machine. See last photo for examples. You can add up to 30 characters.

TO ADD MORE CHARACTERS, Please message me first to make sure there's enough room to put what you want engraved. ♦ WRIST STRAP
Strap is approx. 14 in. when open, and 6-7 in. when closed, with extra long tassels you can cut yourself after you adjust to fit. The wrist strap is made of about 15-18 ft. of 550 paracord or suede leather. Please MESSAGE me ASAP after purchase) to tell me WHERE you want it (ie, distance from ground up, or from top of staff--however you prefer to measure). IF WE DON'T HEAR FROM YOU, I'll put it where I think seems best, assuming the end user's height matches the height of the stick, if you've not indicated otherwise. HOW WRIST STRAP ADDED: (a) hole drilled, sanded and then coated with clear poly, (b) lanyard threaded through hole and tied loosely (so you can easily untie and adjust it before you tighten the knots for good). ♦ HAND GRIP: It is NOT RECOMMENDED to have a hand grip added to the top 10-11 inches, since it's full of natural, comfy finger grip areas created by insect markings, so I've not included it in the upgrade options on the drop down menu.
