When I saw this tissue paper monogrammed letter that Pam made for her AC's Lemonade Stand Party, I thought it was not only beautiful, but such a personal way to welcome her guests!  (And how adorable is the mini lemonade stand too?!)

There are so many gorgeous wreaths on our site. What's great about a wreath is it sets the tone of the party from the minute you walk in the door. Plus, you can get really creative with them.  Here are some made out of paper, vines, diapers, balloons, ribbons, and even extension cords and (one that's not exactly a wreath, but  so pretty I had to add it).

I've been so inspired reading about Chris Nease's work with Operation Shower on her blog, that I had to call her up personally to talk to her about it. Chris is the creative mind behind Celebrations at Home, one of my must-read party and entertainment blogs.

Operation Shower is a nonprofit organization that throws baby showers for pregnant or expecting military families. Chris has helped coordinate two showers for them in the DC area along with Amy Belle Isle from Stem Parties, who is Chief Event Organizer. The latest shower was held in October at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and boy did they do a great job!

What is the new hot color? Purple! In the last two months we have seen a slew of purple parties on our site... birthdays, showers, even Halloween parties.  Why, you might ask? Because purple's fresh and unexpected and a nice alternative to pink. Plus, it looks great with an accent color. See for yourself...
