Mikie M created this amazing Star Wars Party for her son's 6th birthday. She made a ton of the decorations herself for the party including these R2D2 cups. That's right, she designed the labels herself and stuck them on.

I last featured Pamela S's Aly's "I Love Art" Party in a recent party on a budget post. She threw the whole party for $100 and one of the ways she did it, was to make her own favors.

Have you heard of festooning? It's one of my new favorite party craft decorations. I first learned about it when I saw this photo on Jen Smith's Jilly Bean Kids Facebook page.

In case you don't know, festooning is crepe paper fringed garlands that comes in 25' rolls in all these colors.

I saw Brenda F's Backyard Carnival Party and almost flipped. The attention to detail was amazing. Then I discovered she pulled the whole thing off on a budget of $464 for 70 people. That's about $6.50 per person.
