Congrats to our Birthday Card Design Challenge Finalists (and See Some of My Favorites)!
I'm excited to announce the three finalists in our Birthday Card Design Challenge... Bird, Ana, and Allison, what beautiful cards you made!
Now your cards will be voted on by the HP community, and the designer with the most votes will receive a new HP Officejet 7500A and have their card displayed (and be available for download) in the HP Newsgram and on the HP Facebook page.
FREE Summer BBQ Printables by WCC Designs
With Memorial Day coming up, I wanted to give away a set of BBQ printables that would work for this upcoming weekend all your laid back summer parties.
Wanessa from WCC Designs created this great set. I love the mix of patterns and the rough-around-the-edges feel.
{TRENDS} Ice Cream Desserts that Aren't Ice Cream!
With summer approaching, I can't help but think of ice cream, so I was planning to write a post about the incredible ice cream socials on our site. But then I noticed how many treats people make that look like ice cream, but aren't actually ice cream.
I love anything clever and fun, especially when it comes to dessert, so here are my favorite "ice cream" desserts pulled from different parties on our site. (Click on the photo to see the party it's from.)
FREE Father's Day Party Printables from Embellish
I love the masculine feel of these "No. 1 Dad" printables Kirsten from Embellish designed for us. If you're looking for something streamlined, this could be your Father's Day set.
The collection includes: a Father's Day card, "No 1 Daddy" banner, a fun welcome sign, 2" party circles, tented cards, water bottle labels, drink flags, and cupcake wrappers.
{DIY} Color Blocked Wooden Cutlery
I saw this DIY on Studio DIY and had to share it. I love wooden cutlery, but this color blocking idea takes it to a whole new level.
What a seamless way to incorporate your party colors into another element of your decor, plus, how au courant you will look adding such a trendy idea to your party!
{DIY} Monogrammed Mugs
I found these monogrammed mugs on Design Mom and had to share. If you are looking for a cheap and easy favor idea, head to goodwill, find some mismatched mugs, and start monogramming or designing.
All you need to make these are: a pair of scissors, a pen, tape, graphite transfer paper, a Black Pebeo Porcelaine Pen in Fine Point available at Amazon or Michael's, and a print out of your guests' initials (or any other design you want to copy).
