We’re all about sprinkles at our house, so here’s the easiest and most festive cookie to make this Christmas!

These Christmas confetti cookies are much more playful than traditional sugar cookies. and they literally melt in your mouth!

Christmas Confetti Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Holiday sprinkles
  • White chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 ¼ cups unbleached flour
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 sticks salted butter, softened

Directions:

Preheat oven at 350 ℉.

Combine sugar, butter and egg until creamy. Add vanilla and almond extract. In separate bowl combine flour, and baking powder. Add flour mixture to the sugar mixture. Mix to combine until cookie dough forms.

Add holiday sprinkles to dough and gently fold in.

Grease a baking sheet. Roll each cookie into a 1” ball and place on cookie sheet about 1 ½” apart. You can use your hand or bottom of a glass to flatten each cookie before baking.

Bake cookie for 10 minutes at 350 ℉. Remove cookies from oven and cool on a cookie rack. While cookies are still warm, add additional sprinkles to the tops of cookies.
