Baked Apple Cinnamon Donut Holes Recipe |

As we move into fall, how delicious and warming do these baked apple cinnamon donut holes look! I just love anything dusted in cinnamon sugar!

Also, what makes these a healthier alternative to regular donuts is that these are not fried. You just bake them in the oven and they turn out so yummy! See how easy they are to make...

Baked Apple Cinnamon Donut Holes Recipe

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon or pumpkin spice

Combine flour, baking powder and pumpkin spice in a medium bowl. Set aside. In a small bowl mix applesauce, brown sugar egg, milk, vanilla and butter until combined. Add the applesauce mixture to the flour mixture, mix well.

Using a tablespoon, scoop the batter into a greased mini muffin pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool slightly and remove from muffin pan.
