Wow, what gorgeous FREE Christmas printables Renee and Alex from The Inspired Occasion designed for us to give away! I just love how playful and modern they are!

There are blank Christmas party invitations, cupcake toppers/decorative circles, a large "Celebrate Christmas" bunting banner, food label tents/place cards, drink flags,  and my personal favorite... a cake bunting banner (for those of you who don't know, it's a mini banner to hang from mini wooden dowels to decorate your cake)!

Finally, finally. Now that my daughter and I have both recovered from being sick and I've returned from Bloggy Boot Camp, I'm finally able to post photos of my daughter's 4th mermaid birthday.

Here is my daughter with her fairy princess hat. She debated wearing a mermaid costume, but ultimately fell in love with this dress. The face paint was of her own design. Every Friday, the children at my daughter's preschool are able to paint their own faces, hence the face painting you'll see on the other little guests.

Long story short... My daughter loves piano, so my husband found a used keyboard on Craigslist. We picked it up in Manhattan Beach (about 40 minutes from our house) and there's a HomeGoods nearby. My husband, being the kind, generous, and patient man that he is, hung out with my four-year-old, while I got to shop.

It turns out that HomeGoods is owned by the same people as TJ Maxx, where I went a few weeks ago, so it was no surprise that they had many of the same items, but much much more. The store is heaven if you love parties, entertaining, and decorating. I felt infinitely creative just walking through the door.
