FREE Christmas Party Printables from Bird's Party
Many of you know Bird of Bird's Party. She is a definite taste-maker when it comes to parties and printables.
How excited was I, when she agreed to design a free holiday printables collection exclusively for us! Take a look at this adorable "Rudolph" collection which includes: an invitation with type-in fields, party circles, tented cards with type-in fields, favor tags, straw flags, a "Merry Christmas" banner, and a kids' activity sheet.
TRENDS: Holiday Party Hot Cocoa Bars
I'm so into hot cocoa bars this year because they're warm, tasty, inexpensive, and best of all... unexpected. Stealing from the traditional ice cream bar idea, a hot cocoa bar is where you set out cups of hot cocoa (or a carafe) and a selection of toppings and let your guests go to town.
For kids, I recommend putting out a variety of candy toppings (flavored marshmallows, crushed peppermint, M&Ms, etc.), and for adults, you can kick it up a notch by putting out some delicious liqueurs. Take a look at some of these fantastic ideas we've seen.
FREE New Year's Party Printables From Mimi's Dollhouse
It's not even Christmas and I'm already giving away these stunning "striped" New Year's printables designed by Holly from Mimi’s Dollhouse. What's great about this set is they can work for a New Year's Eve party or a New Year's Day party, and how fun are the New Year's resolution cards you can pass out to your guests.
The collection includes a whole slew of items: party circles (2" and 4"), a "Happy New Year" banner, cupcake wrappers, favor tags, fill in invitation, menu card, New Year's resolution cards (my favorite!), straw flags, tented cards, and wine/champagne bottle labels.
DIY: How to Apply Glitter Tattoos (So Much Cooler Than Regular Temporary Tattoos)
I first saw glitter tattoos at the Egyptology 8th Birthday Nicole W threw for her daughter. For party favors, Nicole applied glitter tattoos to her guests. I thought they looked cool, but didn't quite get how they worked.
Then I read Nicole's blog post, where she described the process and explained where to buy everything. So to try it out, I ordered this set from Glimmer Body Art for my daughter for Christmas.
