I got an email a few weeks ago asking me for tips on how to put together a dessert table. I thought this would make a perfect blog post. So here are my basic ideas (click on the photos to see what parties they're from)...

TIP 1

I'm always looking for new ways I can decorate my daughter's room, so I thought a simple wreath with felt flowers to hang on her wall would be easy and look sweet. This wreath could also work for a "girly" birthday, baby shower, or even as a Valentine's Day decoration.

MATERIALS

I'm really into party wreaths, so when I saw this homemade wreath Amy C made for her Milla Turns 3 in a Rainbow of Ribbons Party, I had to ask her if she'd do a tutorial for us. Thank you, Amy, for agreeing, and take it away...

I love the idea of a wreath hanging on the front door to greet party guests at any soiree. They are such a great way to set a tone for the party as people arrive. I have seen a few different and fun styles of wreaths around but when my daughters 3rd birthday party theme was decided on - 'Rainbow of Ribbons' - I knew I had to put something together so came up with a ribbon wreath.

I ran across a post on Twitter from Betsy at Belly Feathers Party Blog, where she was using our Thanksgiving printables for her Oscar party.

This got me thinking... What other printables do we have that could be used for other parties?  So I went looking through our catalog, and pulled these basic ones out.

I'm a self confessed chocoholic. So when my husband mentioned a few weeks ago he and my daughter were talking about baking chocolate cookies, I was not going to let them forget it.

Baking is one of our favorite family activities, so when we don't have a busy weekend, we like to create in the kitchen.
