Long story short... My daughter loves piano, so my husband found a used keyboard on Craigslist. We picked it up in Manhattan Beach (about 40 minutes from our house) and there's a HomeGoods nearby. My husband, being the kind, generous, and patient man that he is, hung out with my four-year-old, while I got to shop.

It turns out that HomeGoods is owned by the same people as TJ Maxx, where I went a few weeks ago, so it was no surprise that they had many of the same items, but much much more. The store is heaven if you love parties, entertaining, and decorating. I felt infinitely creative just walking through the door.

As you may know from reading my blog, I'm a huge fan of personalized anything at parties.

So when I saw these personalized pedestal letters spelling out "Tyler" in the middle of the dessert table at T's Summer Stripes Sprayground Birthday Bash, I had to know how Zoila made them.

Nicole W doesn't just throw incredible parties, she also makes incredible desserts.

When Nicole offered to put together a tutorial on how she made the mini lemon tartlets from her Secret Garden Baby Shower, I got very excited. Take a look at this photo and you will see why... just gorgeous!

I saw these jeweled pumpkins on Glory's blog Glorious Treats and thought they looked so elegant and expensive.

It turns out Glory created these used Martha Stewart Glitter (in onyx) and Martha Stewart Arts & Craft Glue, and that was it!

Ali P made this paper wheel backdrop for her Let's Go Nuts Dinner Party and when I posted a photo of it on Facebook, the response was incredible. People kept wanting to know how she did it.

When I saw these gorgeous crepe paper pomanders Brittany from Grey Grey Designs made for her Diamonds and Damask Engagement Party, I fell in love.

What a great way to make a statement at a party.  And the best part is, they're something new.  You might have seen pomanders made with real flowers, but I bet not like this!
