I always have a hard time finding easy (and inexpensive) Valentine's Day gifts that aren't candy. That's why I decided to make heart crayons with cute tags that my daughter can give to her friends this year for Valentine's Day.

I broke up some pink, white, red, and purple crayons (be careful using purple because they can look really dark when melted).  I put the pieces in heart-shaped silicone baking cups and melted them in the oven at 225 degrees for about 8-10 minutes, checking them often.

I ran across a post on Twitter from Betsy at Belly Feathers Party Blog, where she was using our Thanksgiving printables for her Oscar party.

This got me thinking... What other printables do we have that could be used for other parties?  So I went looking through our catalog, and pulled these basic ones out.

The party went off without a hitch!!  Lainey had a great time, we had a great time.  It was a lot of work, but well worth it.  Here are some pictures to show you what it looked like.

Setting up before the party.  Everything was in Lainey's favorite colors -- pink and purple.  The day couldn't have been more beautiful and if you look in the distance, you'll see the ocean.
