Wanessa from WCC Designs is back with this boy-themed photo backdrop DIY. Take a look at how cool it is!

The idea behind these photo backdrops was to bring some element of skate parks to my big boy's skateboard party. The inspiration was the wired fences you see at skate parks, and I used it to hang pictures of his past birthdays. This photo backdrops got lots of attention at the party!

A trend we're seeing on our site is Curious George parties. What's great about these parties is they classic in feel, plus, it's easy to incorporate both store-bought and personalized items in your party. Here are some of my favorites...

Christopher's 1st Birthday - This is one of the most incredible Curious George dessert tables I've seen and that cake sets the tone for the whole party, plus, I love the bright, festive colors!

As I've mentioned before, I'm on a strict budget for Adelaine's party and the rule at my daughter's preschool is you have to invite the whole class. That means I'm throwing a party for 60+ people. Yikes.

Finally, finally. Now that my daughter and I have both recovered from being sick and I've returned from Bloggy Boot Camp, I'm finally able to post photos of my daughter's 4th mermaid birthday.

Here is my daughter with her fairy princess hat. She debated wearing a mermaid costume, but ultimately fell in love with this dress. The face paint was of her own design. Every Friday, the children at my daughter's preschool are able to paint their own faces, hence the face painting you'll see on the other little guests.

Every time I plan a party, I'm always amazed at how many details there are and how much work the whole thing is.
