I'm so excited to announce a new page on our site called party inspirations and themes.

It's just a big list o' themes, but if you click on one, you'll see all the parties on our site with that theme.

I'd never seen anything like these fabulous paper lantern garlands Katie made for her My Little Sunshine 1st Birthday. So I asked her if she would do a quick tutorial on how she did it. And here it is!!

We get a lot of princess parties on our site. In fact it's one of the most popular themes for girl birthdays. To give you some inspiration and ideas, I thought I'd showcase the different kinds of princess parties we've seen on our site, from the most traditional to the most unusual.

I'm loving Ticings, which are edible icing appliqués that can you can use on cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, you name it. You just peel them off like little stickers and press them onto your dessert.

One of my daughter's closest friends is in love with the movie Cars, so in honor of him, and in honor of all the other boys who love it, too, I thought would highlight these incredibly original and creative Cars birthday parties on our site.
