If you want to be happy, just try my peanut butter Nutella cookie recipe! I'm a big believer that happiness is contagious. Just watch a group of kids laughing, and you'll quickly notice your own smile (or even laughter). It's just that easy.

So for Memorial Day, we were invited over to our friends' house for a BBQ. I love bringing homemade desserts , so this year I made  homemade peanut butter cookies and sandwiched them together with a dollop of Nutella. Do you know "cookie" is a happy word? It makes you smile when you say it. It's the hard "k" sound. Just try it.

I love Nutella. I eat it by the spoonful. And I love baking with it! So here are my absolutely delicious coconut Nutella oatmeal cookie recipe.

I'm a big oatmeal cookie fan. I love the rustic feel of the oats and the crunchy chewiness of the cookie, but I don't like mine with raisins, only chocolate chips.

Challah French Toast Recipe with Nutella and Strawberries | CatchMyParty.com

I love the taste of challah. It's soft, light, eggy, and a tiny bit sweet. For those who don't know, challah is a traditional egg bread eaten by many cultures, but especially by Jews at the sabbath.

It's also my favorite bread to make French toast with, because it brings so much flavor and richness all by itself.  But this time I wanted to step out of my French toast comfort zone, and add some new flavors for summer.

One thing that brings me a tremendous amount of happiness during these lazy days of summer, is baking. First, I love sweets, so that's easy. But second, unlike cooking, where there's a fair amount of wiggle room, baking has to be precise. To me, baking feels like little science experiments. And there's always a little bit of surprise and satisfaction at the end when it all turns out.

Nothing to me says summer like ice cream. Since I was a child, ice cream has always been my favorite  dessert.

One of my best summer memories is of my dad taking me out for ice cream to our local ice cream shop in New Jersey called Grunings. The best part was that I was allowed to order anything I wanted, and I always got the same thing... a banana split. My special banana split had vanilla ice cream with extra chocolate sauce and extra whipped cream. It was delicious.

{RECIPE} Delicious Soft Pretzels with Two Dipping Sauces (Spicy Gruyère and Creamy Nutella)

by Jillian Leslie on

My husband is really excited about baseball season starting, so I thought it would be fun to try my hand at baking homemade pretzels.

I love hot pretzels, especially when paired with a good dipping sauce (like the spicy Gruyère and creamy Nutella recipes I've included below). Honestly, what could be better than enjoying a hot pretzel and a cold beer while watching baseball?
