We wanted an eclectic bohemian look for this with subtle hints of rustic and tons of color.
Designs by LRH created the grand focal point over the main table with a colorful and billowy garland of baby’s breath and roses that floated effortlessly above with cascades of french tulips dripping down. Clusters of various eclectic flowers were peppered throughout the lush table runner with lilac, succulents, orchids, and allium to name a few. A low poof of rainbow baby's breath accented the streamer photo backdrop. Sprigs of baby's breath were sprinkled throughout the balloon garland by the smoothie bar with a large and lush cluster of a vibrant mix of fresh lilac, orchids, roses, and more filling the corner of the smoothie bar.
The bloggers featured in this shoot were styled by Mary Conley. She put a fresh twist on some contemporary local Spring/Summer fashions with flirty dresses and unexpected jumpsuits. Fun floral prints, lean stripes and bold solids all stole the show.
Cristina of Lemon Events and I (Designs by LRH) wanted to really accentuate the height and grandeur of the event venue. She personally hand-crafted giant, colorful streamer rope tassels that cascaded down several stories, accenting the side of the main table. She also made the colorful balloon garland around the smoothie bar that was sprinkled with sprigs of baby's breath. Her handmade streamer photo backdrop filled with pops of color was also showcased behind the bloggers for their group shots.
I wanted to do something different for place holding each seat for the girls, so we requested custom cookies be made for each blogger that was placed on their plates to mark their spot. Each colorful cookie was placed on fresh white dishes provided by Social Memphis. It was a fun element that they got to see and taste! The cookies were provided by Collins' company Whimsy Cookie Company.
Our vision for the main table was to have a healthier version of your typical grazing table. Simply Delicious Catering provided us with an overabundance of fruits, cheeses, meats and other treats that lined the length of the table. Every item was artfully curated and placed on beautiful rustic serveware provided by Social Memphis. The smoothie bar was the perfect accompaniment with fresh tropical drinks to cooled them off on a hot day.
