Party Recap

For my daughter's 3rd birthday I wanted to revolve the decor around vintage Strawberry Shortcake. She really liked the old episodes from the 80's and I found them charming and fun and innocent. Almost everything for the party was handmade and vintage, and purchased from sources like etsy and ebay. It was a very special day for Gwenna and her little friends.

Thank you so much for that comment, Tanya! I am glad to hear that others relate to the old character so much. I loved the doll and tv show, too. It is just one of those memories that makes me feel warm and fuzzy and I wanted to share that with my daughter. Thanks again!

Hi Rosalyn! The wreath is a straw base and all I did was hot glue strawberry candies (in their wrapper) to it. I added a few silk blossoms to finish. I tied the strawberry shortcake doll on with ribbon and done! So easy. You can see more on my blog desert girls vintage. Search vintage strawberry shortcake party! thank you and I'm sure your little one's party will be amazing. my best, Rebecca
