Turning 60 in the 60s

We wanted to have a fun theme for my Mom's sixtieth birthday, so we chose the 60s. The invitations included handwritten instructions to dress in groovy 60s garb.

  Taco dips, cheese, crackers, chips, onion dip, zucchini bread, pigs in a blanket, blondies, strawberry Jell-O salad, tie dyed cupcakes

• What People Drank

  Beer, wine, lemonade, tea, soda

• Desserts

  Tie dyed cupcakes, which were fun and easy to make! We used vanilla cake mix and food coloring.
