Summer of Love 50th Birthday Party

Both clients were born during San Francisco’s Summer of Love, so to mark their 50th Birthday, we used this theme.
We created a San Francisco/Haight-Ashbury hippie party, complete with a psychedelic light show, daisy chains, body painting, lots of textures, colors, and fabrics, vintage lounges reminiscent of ‘60’s San Francisco, and of course all the hit music of the 60’s, featuring San Francisco artists like the Jefferson Airplane, and Janis Joplin.

The explosion of colors of the overall palette, and the amazing tented lounges, which featured velvet Victorian sofas, Peacock rattan chairs, and Moroccan leather ottomans. The velvet dining chairs in vivid colors were also pretty great. The bubble dancer floating on the pool and body painted artist were also a big highlight.

We had a great team of vendors who all made our collective vision come to life; The Lux Productions created a gorgeous psychedelic light show, Entire Productions provided our body painted artists, and bubble dancer. The clients and their friends were so great, they really got into the groove and together we had a blast creating their Summer of Love birthday celebration.
