Party Recap

My aunt and uncle are expecting their 1st baby in September!

I wanted to do something special and memorable for the gender reveal, something so much more personal than just calling family and friends to tell them what it is.

They loved the idea and couldn't be more thrilled.

I based the party on the colors pink, blue, and green with a rustic vibe.

I first made the invited using a background I found online. Then I made a background using wood and painted it to match the invites... it turned out so perfect!

The brunch menu consisted of a waffle bar, yogurt parfaits, quiche, chicken on a biscuit bites, cheesy potatoes, coconut cake, chocolate milk, milk, punch, and coffee.

The centerpieces were green, blue, and pink hydrangeas in a mason jar.

The favors were baby food jars topped with a tiny baby and filled with pink, blue, and green candy.

Everything turned out so perfect!

We are so blessed to soon welcome a new baby into the family. I am so happy that I was able to create something so special for them, they are an amazing and deserving couple.

By the way.... IT'S A BOY!!!

Your centerpieces come out beautiful. Just wondering where did you get the little wood crates/ boxes?

Thank you:) They actually came with my daughter's wooden play food sets. I think Michaels or Hobby Lobby might have something similar.

The wood crates actually came with my daughters Melissa & Doug play food, but similar ones can be found at Michaels.
