Party Recap

The best way to make the bride-to-be feel special, a day all about her! I hosted a rustic themed bridal brunch with a mimosa bar (of course)! I wanted the brunch to feel romantic with soft colors and details. I started planning the brunch by figuring out what florals I wanted to use—I love incorporating fresh elements. I decided on cream and blush roses and true blue and willow eucalyptus.

I found the perfect invitation to match the exact look I was going for. With simple watercolor florals and greenery, it was just what was needed to set the tone for the brunch.

The location for the brunch had a gorgeous dining room, which made planning so much easier! The rustic mirror, buffet table, dining table and chandelier really created the rustic, romantic feel.

The mimosa bar was set up on the buffet table—which was the main focal point for the brunch. I used a white macramé table runner for a color contrast. A white picture frame was used to display a mimosa bar sign with how to make a mimosa. Orange, pineapple and grapefruit juices were served in clear carafes with fresh fruit to top with. A champagne ice bucket chilled the prosecco and rosé. I added a few blush roses into the bucket, too. Guests had the option to use a blush coupe glass or standard champagne flute. I created a beautiful bouquet and used a mason jar as the vase, which was displayed on a cake stand.

For the backdrop I wanted something simple, yet stunning. I decided to use a wood pallet and made a 3ft mini balloon garland to attach to it. Fresh eucalyptus added into the garland was the perfect touch. Because you can never have too many balloons, I created a eucalyptus balloon tail for a 17” blush balloon.

The table was set using white square plates, gold silverware and tan napkins. Each napkin had a jute napkin ring which held a rose and a true-blue stem. For the centerpiece, I created two small bouquets and placed willow eucalyptus on the table runner. A simple white cake topped with fresh florals and a glitter “bride to be” cake topper was the perfect addition to the center of the table.

The bridal brunch was such a special day with so many memories made that will last forever!
