Party Recap
Retro design, bright colors, palm trees and flamingos transported our guests to Palm Springs for Grant’s fourth birthday. I knew I wanted to design a party around the putting green in our backyard, but I wanted something unique. Mid-century style and Palm Springs vibes are so fun, I thought they would be perfect for a golf party. I started my party planning with the invitation, using retro fonts and design elements and everything took off from there. Brunch is a favorite of ours, so guests enjoyed an omelette bar along with biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit. Little flags reminiscent of the kind you see on the golf course were used as labels for all the omelette ingredients. I incorporated a donut wall and donut hole towers on the “Hole in One” dessert table. “Junior” and “Pro” golfers all enjoyed the various drink selections while they tried their hand at the putting green. The Junior golfers left with a custom golf cookie favor for their trip back to their home course.
