Party Recap

Beauty, fashion, and Paris is what suits a mother to be. Diana Madison’s baby shower is what elucidates these key elements for the perfect party. To be a guest and to plan this beautiful baby shower was certainly elegant. The amazing painted maroons towering next to the gorgeous three tier naked cake adding colorful flowers for a natural classic look.

When Diana Madison came to me about the theme she wanted for her baby shower I was ecstatic. Diana found out she was pregnant while being in Paris for fashion week. She was so excited she wanted to recreate a Parisian vibe Laduree theme for her baby shower. She really wanted her guest to feel that they were in a garden in Paris. It was classic and floral with the elegance of a day in Paris. Beautiful pastel colors with textures of lace linens, accent colors of bright gold, and natural greens surrounding a beautiful custom dessert cart to place the bright pastel pastries.

Diana’s childhood friend Sako who owns PetalsLA put these amazing flowers together for this special day. They had brought in Juliet garden roses, snowberry flowers, and French anemones imported from France, all these beautiful flowers to recreate a French brunch feel. Diana is obsessed with Laduree and she loves maroons, she really wanted to have that Laduree vibe added to her baby shower. We had custom created a dessert cart for Diana and made sure baby Collette’s name was incorporated on the cart and filled it with beautiful desserts that were Laduree inspired. We had chosen the beautiful Hotel Bel-Air Swan Lake for the baby shower. They had a gorgeous pond with Swans, we wanted the guest to feel like they were transported to Paris for brunch for a day.

Diana’s dress was custom designed by her good friend Michael Costello. It was a dress that was effortless, easy, flowy, romantic, a garden goddess and sexy. Michael decided to have some cleavage and a little bit of the leg but still kept the color very muted, soft, and pink, he wanted the dress to look effortless and ethereal. Overall the look came out beautiful she looked elegant, flawless, and timeless.
Diana’s hair and makeup look was like mid summers night, it was very ethereal with long lose waves, and her beautiful long lashes with her glowing skin.

Overall the experience planning and being apart of this beautiful baby shower was so amazing. Guest felt that they were having brunch in Paris. The elegance, flawless, and Parisian Laduree vibe, made it feel like a day in Paris.
