Party Recap

We had a truly magical Nutcracker Birthday Tea Party to celebrate our daughter turning five, and our youngest daughter turning one. The party was held at the dance studio where my daughter takes dance, and we had a very special guest, the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker Ballet. More pics and details at www.maunelegacy.com.

We started the party with all the girls dancing to the Nutcracker Suite, and when the Sugar Plum Waltz came on the Sugar Plum Fairy surprised the girls and performed her dance in front of a captivated audience. She then let the girls gather around and touch her costume and chatted about their favorite color, their favorite song, what they wanted for Christmas…you know typical girl talk. She led them in dancing and took time to take photos with all the girls. We then moved into the Tea Party. They loved finding their special seats labeled by name cards. The girls sipped on apple juice while they enjoyed delectable treats and birthday cake. They loved all their party favors which included the adorable flower crowns, and strands of ribbon pearls. They loved their mini nutcracker ornaments, snowflake wands, and the snow globes were an absolute favorite. The Sugar Plum Fairy came around to each of the girls as they enjoyed their tea party.

Favorite Details:
-The Sugar Plum Fairy was not only beautiful, she was so talented and related so well to the girls.
-The Tea Party table was set with pink rose china place settings and filled with glittery trees, nutcrackers, and a dusting of decorative snow.
-The backdrop for the food table included pink tulle, white snowflakes, gold ballerinas, and a pink, gold, and cream balloon garland.
-The flower crowns were adorable sitting on each plate, and the girls look so sweet wearing them.
-The handmade snow globes were a magical addition to the party!
-Each guest also received a strand of pearls, a tutu, pink nutcracker ornaments, and a snowflake wand.
-The Invitations, Party Sign, Cupcake Wrappers, Birthday Banner, Water Bottle Labels, and the Name Cards went along with the theme perfectly.
-The two birthday cakes resembled ballerina tutus.
