A gorgeous Minnie Mouse cake as well as a chocolate fountain. Items to cover in chocolate included Rice Krispies, strawberries, pretzel rods, peanut butter cookies, brownies, biscotti, pirouettes, strawberry oreos, and or course marshmallows!
-
Activities / Games
All the kids got Mouskatool boxes that included a Minnie Mouse hair clip to wear, a picture frame they decorated, a Mickey cookie cutter with icing to make Mickey cookies, and they finished it off by playing pin the bow on Minnie! So much fun!
-
Best Moment
When the Birthday girl blew out her candles!
-
What People Ate
We all had pizza that was laid out on platters to look like a hidden Mickey!
-
What People Drank
The kiddos had strawberry milk served in super cute glass bottles with pink polka dot straws!
-
Most Touching Moment
When the Birthday girl came in and was so suprised that all her friends and family were there!
-
Funniest Moment
Everyone was covered in chocolate from the chocolate fountain. We were all a mess! lol

how did you make the bows??
Sarah I wrote:
wow!!!!! :)
Erica F wrote:
Hey Sarah! I made them with homemade marshmallow fondant. 1)You mix a bag of melted marshmallows with a bag of powdered sugar. 2)I squished it flat between two sheets of parchment/wax paper 3)Cut fondant into long strips 4)take the ends of the strips and fold them in to the middle 5)squish the middle to make the look more bow-like 6)cut a small piece of fondant and wrap around the middle (I wet the ends of the small piece just a little so it would stick together.) 7)refridgerate so they firm up a bit (I kept them in the fridge overnight) I hope that helps!

Hi Genesis! I bought the boxes from PocketFullofGlitter on etsy.com. You can find them here ... http://www.etsy.com/listing/69763446/minnie-mouse-zebra-pink-black-birthday. :o)
Erica F wrote:
Hi Veronica! I made the bows from Scrapbook paper from Michaels. The plates are actually just one regular sized paper dinner plate and 2 cake plates for the ears! You can buy the value set at Party City for super cheap! :o)
Erica F wrote:
The centerpiece is made of 3 styrofoam balls covered in ribbon loops. There's a tutorial here on the Catch My Party blog on how to make a ribbon topiary. Follow those instructions, then cover 2 smaller styrofoam balls with the ribbons. Then I used wooden skewers to attach the smaller styrofoam balls for the "ears." The bottom is a little container I found in the dollar spot at Target ( I hot glued polka dot and Minnie ribbon on it.) I secured the topiary to the bottom with a styrofoam square I bought at the Dollar Tree, then covered it with a bag of black stones also bought at the Dollar Tree!
