Birthday Parties: McKenzie’s 7th pARTy
Although McKenzie is diagnosed with Down Syndrome, her disability does not stop her. She is an amazing child that truly has love for the arts! Since music and painting is one of her favorite hobbies, her parents knew that an amazing art party will be fitting for her 7th birthday.
“McKenzie’s 7th pARTy” was held at No. 2 Vance in Memphis, TN. Original sliding doors, exposed brick and hardwood floors created the perfect canvas for McKenzie’s Art Studio. Studio 1524 was the primary designer. She knew she wanted to transform the venue into an actual art studio; she did just that. Captivating Balloons also provided their amazing organic balloons, creating the perfect backdrop for the party.
The guest were welcomed with delicious appetizers and face painting from Fairys and Frogs Face Painting, prior to art session. Art session was led by Kristina Shields with Painting on the Go. Friends had the option to choose pre-prepped canvases: unicorns, batman, mermaids and Mickey/Minnie mouse.
All enjoyed a beautiful art themed cake from MyMoniCakes after the art session. Also, everyone departed the party with art-themed cookies and a cool “paint can” filled with goodies.
McKenzie’s 7th pARTy was indeed a masterpiece!
