Party Recap

This DIY balloon garland tutorial is an easy, budget friendly party idea to help you pull together a family friendly Mardi Gras party! I didn’t plan to put a Mardi Gras party together this year, but my daughter has been obsessed with wearing her mask that she got while in Venice and that got me thinking that a Mardi Gras party could be fun! Plus, a 3 year old is always up for cake! I spent just over $5 on balloons for the Mardi Gras party table. The rest of the party decorations you see on the table I re-used from past parties. This party was definitely budget friendly.

I will include a video of the balloon garland tutorial. There are so many different ways to make a balloon garland and I find myself using different ways for each party based on the balloon garland shape I want to achieve. Here is an example of what I did with balloons for a St. Patrick’s Day party table last year. This is another example of balloon decor for Easter.

My DIY Mardi Gras party is a great example of how you don’t need much to celebrate holidays or events you may not typically think of celebrating at home with family. Balloons are always fun for parties and they are typically budget friendly if you buy in bulk.
