"A dream is a wish your heart makes..."
And our hearts must of wished on a shooting star for this dream come true fairytale! Putting together this party for our special little client was so delightful every detail of it made our hearts smile.

This Disney loving family wanted to celebrate their only little girl in a magical way for her second birthday. We love when clients opt for classic theme and decide on an untraditional route with their color schemes! So when our client requested a pastel color pallet for "Lailaland" (our twist on Disneyland) it was magical!
Once colors were established we went to work on out design. What started out as a very (VERY) rough sketch as we tossed ideas around in our meeting actually grew into a respectable vision. Our main goal was to showcase a vintage Minnie and Mickey, once we locked in the 3 ft. sketch cutouts of the dynamic duo it set the mood for the rest of the design to follow. The Pinwheel plates gave a vintage stamp but also incorporated the playful pastel color as requested. Adding dusty blue curtains to our dessert cart helped soften up the look for the "sweetest treats on Earth".

Floral is always a must no matter how small the gathering. We wanted to keep it kid friendly making sure the size of the arrangement didn't overpower the kids table so they could still interact with each other. We loved these faux blue floral we found at our local Joann's store and couldn't pass up the opportunity to use it so we mixed real floral and faux flowers in our centerpiece for the perfect shades of blues and pinks! As the saying goes... Fake it till you make it, right?

Each of Laila's guest were greeted in their white chaivari seat by classic Disney Princess book labeled with their name on it, as well as personalized Minnie ears.

Paper placemats by PoppyJackShop brought in the famous cinderella castle using the perfect shade of water color pink.

We topped this design off by sprinkling fun Disney confetti around the table for an extra little touch.
