Party Recap
This party was for my daughter who turned 10. We decided to have a Glow Party. We found out the hard way that it was best to buy the long black lights - not the small light bulbs that you find in the party store. The bigger ones work best. I took black table cloths from the dollar store and painted them with glow in the dark paint. I draped them on the windows. They looked and worked great! Unfortunately I could not capture that in a pic to show. I also took a black table cloth and put yellow and orange gaffers tape on it which glows in the dark. I made this a backdrop for a Take Your Own Selfie wall. I also had a candy bar with brightly colored candy. When the girls arrived I had them create a t shirt using white t shirts from the craft store and highlighters to draw on them. Then I gave all the guests plenty of glow jewelry that I bought in the dollar store to wear. The girls had lots of fun dancing in the glow light. They played limbo using glow sticks as the limbo stick and twister. They ate pizza then went to the candy bar after to pick their candy. More dancing followed by cupcakes and opening of the presents. All paper goods (water bottle labels, buffet cards, banners and signs) are from my Etsy shop. It was a fun time!
