Party Recap

Some of Ava's first words were farm animal sounds, and she loved cows, pigs and chickens. So of course I had to do a farm animal theme but, put a bit of a frilly country farmgirl look to it. I had so much fun planning it and the park and day were beautiful!

Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

    The birthday girl of course!

  • Desserts

White cake with strawberries, and vanilla and chocolate cupcakes

  • Activities / Games

There was a playground, and a stream the kids loved both.

  • Party Favors

Piggy banks filled with gumballs, flower lollipops, assorted candy and a set of Jax

  • Best Moment

Just eating and being with family and friends, watching Ava play with her cousins, being pushed in the swing by her daddy and just watching all the kids having fun.

  • What People Ate

Ava's favorite food is pasta, and we had the party around dinner time, so I served rigatoni with meatballs,(great grandma Nana's recipe) chicken alfredo, garlic bread (her Grammary's recipe), salad and brushetta.

  • What People Drank

Lemonade, pink lemonade, water, and pop

  • Most Touching Moment

When Emma, Ava's big sister handed her the cow smoosh cake that she had made and Ava said "moo"! Yes, the cow cake was made by my 8 year old daughter! She did a wonderful job!!

  • Funniest Moment

Well, we had a cake fiasco at our house with the cake that was to be served to the guests, (it literally fell over:) so I stopped at the local grocery store on the way picked up a cake and added the cute baby farm animals to it.

Party Helpers

  • Ava's big sisters, Savannah and Emma, and my Niece, Deja'

I could not have gotten all the decorations up and everything ready without my 3 little helpers! They were great!
