Drew's Vintage Travel Bar Mitzvah

Vintage travel Bar Mitzvah! Bar Mitzvah boy loves to travel and has high hopes for a future filled with visiting every country. The reception took place at Fig and Olive Newport Beach which leant a beautiful backdrop to our vintage theme. Guests were greeted with their own personalized passport as a table card. Tables were labeled by country that matched the inside of the personalized passports. Personalized menus adorned the tables along with map box party favors filled with mints. Guests could sign well wishes on a vintage globe and take "passport photos" at the themed photo booth. Inside, guests were invited to try travel themed signature drinks at the soda bar. After lunch, the kids ravaged the travel themed candy buffet which featured candy from all over the world including: Japanese "sushi", Chinese fortune cookies, German pretzels, Mexican Pinata Candy, Antarctic gummy penguins, Brazilian Rain Forest "Vines", Italian gummy "pizz a", Gummy "snakes" from the amazon, Gummy "flip flops" from the Bahamas, etc....Party planning, candy buffet and décor by Laurel Weissman from 'licious by Laurel www.liciousbylaurel.com, Photography by Pierce Larick | www.NewRevolutionPhotography.com and Graphic Design by Lisa Garzon of Lisa Kay Designs www.lisakaydesigns.com.   Chef's choice Crostinis, Soup or salad, Fig and Gorgonzola Risotto, Seared Salmon, and filet mignon salad.

• What People Drank

  Kids and adults were offered a signature soda bar with 12 different Italian soda syrups including chocolate chip cookie dough, marshmallow and birthday cake. Adults enjoyed mimosas, bellinis, champagne, wine, beer, etc....

  Chocolate pot de crème and caramelized apple tart. International themed candy buffet

  Vintage travel boxes filled with mints at each place setting.
