Party Recap

A baby shower "sprinkle" for a soon to be little brother! I threw my sister, Jennifer, and soon to be nephew, a baby sprinkle! The sprinkle was themed to, "Boy oh Boy!" since little brother will be joining big brother, Hudson! White, denim and navy, silver, and unfinished wood were the color and decor themes. A repurposed pallet formed the backdrop of the dessert table, and milk glass, vintage scales, and other props were used throughout the shower, dessert table, mimosa table, and as decor. The shower was held at 10:00 AM and was a brunch shower, complete with a mimosa bar, coffee bar, bagel bar, and yogurt bar, as well as lots of desserts! Since it was a "sprinkle" shower, I opted for a cake with a sprinkle theme. I tried to choose decor that could be repurposed either as items or clothing for my soon to be nephew, or for decorative items in his room. I thrifted almost everything at the shower! Including milk glass, most clothing, decorative items, and vintage items. I also picked up blue champagne glasses at the dollar store. I wanted the invitation to set the tone of the shower, and so "Boy oh Boy!" featured prominently. I chose a gray confetti background for the "sprinkle" theme. I love how it turned out! The invitation was incorporated into the event decor. All of the flowers were arranged by my aunt.
