An Audrey Hepburn Inspired Birthday

This party was an Audrey Hepburn inspired surprise party at The Water Works Restaurant in Philadelphia. The birthday girl loves pink and gold so that naturally became the color scheme.

Family members created photo boards filled with beautiful memories that were displayed throughout the space.

Audrey Hepburn Memorabilia decorated the guestbook and escort card table that later served as the favor table.

We created labels for the limoncello and chocolatecello that were made by one of the guests and given as a favor.

In addition to the limoncello, the guests brought home photo magnets. Pictures were taken at a "Step and Repeat" that featured a life sized Audrey cut out. We printed and assembled them so they were ready for guests as they were leaving. This is a tradition for the hostess and her parties, and we kind of love it!

We arranged various color pink hydrangeas in a vase wrapped with a thick gold rhinestone ribbon. A 12" mirror and a few votive candles were finished with f aux pearls. Each table was marked by a different Audrey Hepburn movie. Guests located their name on an escort card watermarked with the movie poster. Since the birthday girl loves them, we were asked to make the escort cards in the shape of a heart. We used open shadow box to display them.

Coasters with various inspirational Audrey quotes were a little extra gift for the guests.

  An antipasto spread during the outdoor cocktail hour as well as passed hors d'oeuvres. Dinner was salmon and filet with roasted potatoes and broccolini.

  Dessert was a table of various treats and chocolate bar.

  Homemade limoncello and cholocatecello, magnets created from pictures on the step and repeat, a coaster with an inspirational Audrey Hepburn quote.
