  • What People Drank

Hand crafted drinks called "1979's" , composed of ginger ale with orange juice, orange wheels and raspberries.

  • Desserts

The birthday cake was lemon cake with fresh lemon juice and sugar in the homemade frosting.

  • Party Favors

In keeping with the theme of the birthday's favorite things, each guest left with favors of sugar cookies decorated like Diet Dr. Pepper and Sonic drinks, and a journal with a personalized pencil saying "I stole this from Courtney Warren".

  • Activities / Games

Because Courtney's husband is a singer, songwriter and musician, he wrote her a cheery birthday song and performed it before their meal. Everyone was dying laughing at words like, "Every day at the gym, getting nice and lean. She could be in a magazine, pushups and crunches, and makes the boy's lunches, she does everything! Here's what she did last Christmas Put all the Sonic carhops on her Christmas list. Diet Dr Pepper, all day How many I’ll never say Because I love her so.... When she tells a story I will never yawn, because I'm in love with Courtney Warren." Courtney loves flowers, so halfway through the party, the guests were provided with flower crowns as they started the meal. Her favorite flowers (ranunculus, hydrangeas, eucalyptus and black and white anemones) were placed in low bouquets around the tables to aid for easy conversation. Table conversation cards with the Courtney cartoon were on the table to help the party goers get to know each other. Questions included "What is your first memory of Courtney" and "What is the most useless thing you are really good at?". Answers included always knowing what time it was, or being a great "googler", and being able to pick up things with their feet! These little details quickly aided in hilarious conversation and lots of laughs!
