Party Recap
The party began at Chicago Treehouse play center. The kids (and even some adults) had a great time. The party continued at my parent's home where we had lunch, cake and more fun. My son helped with some of the decorations and even chipped in making the chocolate covered pretzel rods with sprinkles. Everyone loved them.

We used a posterboard (cut to size) wrapped it to form the tube and taped it in place, then we taped it to a round cardboard cake plate. I created fringed crepe paper first and then wrapped them around the tube painstakingly. The top is where I cheated and just used red duct tape to cover and secure the wire hangar. In hindsight the pinata was virtually indestructible because of the posterboard. :) We ended up poking holes in various places to help the kids out. LOL.
