I threw a beautiful neutral, Woodland-themed Winnie the Pooh baby shower for one of my dearest friends on a beautiful spring afternoon. I've thrown quite a few events before, but this one was somewhat challenging to pull together as so many Winnie the Pooh parties I saw online were bright, bold and colorful!
We wanted something elegant, yet with a hint of pink since she was having a girl, so focusing on the Woodland/nature theme was best. It came together with some wood pieces and garlands I found at Michael's, fresh baby's breath on the table and a few Winnie the Pooh details like framed art and a stuffed bear.
After an Etsy vendor fell through, I ended up creating the table tent cards and birthday party banner myself. For food, we served "tigger tails" which were so fun to make and festive! A quick Pinterest search will show you how.
We also served a "Rabbit's garden" of fresh veggies, and, of course, fresh fruit and hunny pots! All of the guests went home with their own individual honey jar as a thank you favor.
