70th Birthday Tea Party

70th vintage tea party for my dear mother was a total surprise for her as she thought she was over babysitting ha

• What People Ate

  Finger Sandwiches (with the crust cut off) - Egg Mayonnaise & Watercress, Crab Salad, Prawn Cocktail, Avocado & Chicken. I bought gluten free sandwiches and cakes for my dad who has a wheat intolerance. For children - ham or cheese sandwiches.

• What People Drank

  Traditional English loose leaf tea and pink lemonade was served to all and glasses of champagne with strawberries for the adults.

• Desserts

  Victoria Sponge Cake, Fruit Tarts, Chocolate and Vanilla Cupcakes, Macaroons, Salted Caramel Slices, Cream and Jam Buns.

• Party Favors

  A slice of the birthday cake was wrapped in vintage style napkins.

• Activities / Games

  I hang handmade bunting up with old photos attached so everyone could see what my mum looked like over the 7 decades :)
