beautiful I've been searching for those bags where did you find them?

I made them...Oriental Trading had the bags (search purple backpack $21 for 12) and then I ordered iron on transfer sheets for dark fabric from OnlineLabels - I thought I could just print the face on them and iron on but I had to cut out around each eye/eye brow/ mouth - then iron on and outline each in black marker....took a looong time, but they were a hit! Maybe ordering the clear transfers is the way to go, but not sure how the whites of the eyes would come out.

The real big ones are cut outs I made. I ordered lawn signs (like they use for elections and businesses) from staples copy and print - they were 9.99 after 50% off and I uploaded the character picture and then they came in a giant rectangle - so I cut them - another pain in the butt, but it was cheaper than I could have found them anywhere else and can do the variety of characters.

I'm thinking of doing the character cut outs as well, and all of the images I've found said the resolution was low or grainy. Did adjusting them in photoshop make a difference?

I was going to list these on etsy just haven't had a chance. As I mentioned, in an earlier post, I had a 50% off coupon so after that, I paid $9.99 (plus tax & shipping) for each and then cut them, I am going to list them for $10 each. After the party, all of them have been kept in a box (except for Isa - my son loves walking around with her!) If interested, let me know the characters and I can weigh the box and let you know shipping. If you want to send me your email, I can reply there. You can pay through PayPal, if that works :)

I made them on photoshop. I can do for $10 (you would still need to print on your own) without the '____the explorer' and for $10 make the explorer sign and add to invite and send you a separate file so you can make stickers, etc with it. You can email me at [email protected] if you are interested in these or the large cut outs (or anything else)

Sorry, Lori - just seeing this...adjusting the resolution made a HUGE difference (some can't be adjusted enough) Wen doing a google search for images make sure you have it set only to pull up large or extra large images.

Sorry! I just realized there are a ton of comments I didn't get notifications on...I drew the faces on a piece of scotch tape and then put them on the string cheese wrapper.

Jen - I noticed your area code is 815 on the invite. I also know this was 2 years ago, but I am near 815 area code and was wondering if you had any of this stuff left that you would be willing to see me. Looking to Dora for my son's 2nd birthday in April. Also, where did you get the cake?
