My family and I love to visit National and State Parks. Years ago, we decided that the best souvenirs are pins and patches from the places we visit. That is all great, but where and how do we display them? After researching options, and not liking too many of them, I came up with this design for a banner to hang in our entryway to display all of our travels and adventures. For years, I've been wanting to make these for my shop to share this family favorite with you!

Each banner is handmade with two layers of gray felt for a sturdy and classic finish that will hang proudly in your home for years to come. Our banner stops guests in their tracks to admire our collection. The memories of these beloved trips hang where we can see them - and remember them - daily.

My boys are also involved in scouting, so as you can imagine, we have a lot of scout patches! Each child has a banner in their room for their individual accomplishments and trips. The banners are a beautiful history of their scouting adventures.

The Polkadot Paper Company is a one-woman shop located in Austin, Texas. All products are designed, assembled, and carefully shipped by our founder, Paula.

Handmade, dimensions may vary slightly from banner to banner.
•• Hanging twine is 3mm gray cotton twine. Can be adjusted to the height needed.
•• 18" wooden birch dowel, .5" thickness.
•• 18 adhesive "hook" circles for attaching patches.

SUBSTANTIAL SIZE: The large size makes sure that it can hold a variety of adventures or a full career of scouting adventures. With over 600 square inches of display space, this will be sure to hold plenty of memories.

QUALITY & DURABILITY: We hope your banner will become a family heirloom to hang in your home for many years, that's why each banner is made with two layers of felt. It's sturdy and strong to last.

FUNCTION: Each banner comes with 18 adhesive "hook" circles to adhere to the back of patches to place on your banner. (Someday I will sew mine down, but I enjoy being able to rearrange them with this hook and loop option.)
