Kohakutou Candy Gems are a traditional Japanese confectionery. They are visually magnificent with swirls of color and highlights of metallic gold that resemble crystals.
The texture is crunchy on the outside and jello like on the inside. Kohakutou are mildly flavored and are best used for cake and cupcake embellishment.
