This 60 page A6 Gratitude Journal is a perfect way to change a habit and train your brain to look for more positive things in your life.

At times like these it’s important to focus on the good & remind yourself of what you’re grateful for.

Gratitude journaling is the habit of recording and reflecting on things (typically three) that you are grateful for on a regular basis.

This journal, based on research completed by Martin Seligman which suggest to write down three things that went well each day and their causes every night for one week.

After one week they were 2% happier than before, but in follow-up tests, their happiness kept on increasing, from 5% at one month, to 9% at six months. All this, even though they were only instructed to journal for one week. Participants enjoyed the exercise so much, that they just kept on doing it on their own.

This exercise, called ‘Three Good Things” is exactly what this journal asks you to do.

There is one day reflection per page.

Questions include;
“3 things I am grateful for today”
“3 things that went well today”
“the person I am grateful for today is ...because”
“reflections about today”
“something I did to care for myself today” “today’s positive affirmation...I am”

People who are grateful tend to be happier, healthier and more fulfilled. Being grateful can help people cope with stress and can even have a beneficial effect on heart rate. This action is easy to do yet its benefits have been scientifically proven.

In essence, you are rewiring your brain to focus more on the positive aspects of your life and build up resilience against negative situations.
