Party Recap

Madden - a pint sized superhero in pastel pink. When we began brainstorming ideas for this little girl’s first birthday party, and hearing about her tough medical year, we wanted the perfect celebration for her and her family. of course she was the epitome of a true Wonder Woman and it was even more perfect that her monogram was slightly resemblant of WW being MW.

Taking into account our client's personal style, we didn’t want to use the traditional colors of Wonder Woman. No offense WW, but here at lemon & lime we like to offer our own twist (pun fully intended). So her parents, who are also real life superheroes, passion for preppy colors and pastels helped to create our color palette and use that for our overall vision of the day.

Emily Baird Design created the most charming invite and artwork that we used throughout the event. Since we had adults and children of varying ages we needed to find a venue and activities that had real super powers - Poulet Coop came flying in! Using some of the most powerful paper products from one of our favorite go tos, Meri Meri, provided a real crowd pleaser combined with the most delicious food from Rouge Catering.

We loved watching the kids run around in their decorated Amazon capes, masks, and glitter tattoos from Star Valle using all of their super powers! The acrylic table and high chair from Just Kids Party Rentals helped create the perfect backdrop for when it was time to sing happy birthday. Plus the most beautiful skyscraphing cake designed by Jason Hisley of CAKE. The honeycomb garland from Oh Happy Day was also a nice vibrant touch to our backdrop for this onederful celebration.

I mean just look at that sweet little face with the monogram and her little crown - she is one Wonder Woman.
