Witches Brew For Two: A Haunting Half Birthday

When two besties, who love to play dress up, were born just days apart, exactly six months from Halloweentime, doesn't it just make sense to throw the most epic HALF birthday party for TWO? In this case, our girlies love all things potions and magic, so a bewitching time was had by all! We chose a spooky location, right outside of town, at a closed campground. The scene was set perfectly by freshly fallen leaves at a fork in the road and some extra-bendy oaks framed our setting. We wanted a classy affair, if not completely void of haunts. The combination of great-grandma's vintage lace tablecloth, mom's favorite blue glass and an auntie's party chargers laid the foundation for the fanciest of witches brews. The lovely place settings paired nicely with black and white flourish print chairs and banners, as the mood was set with twinkly string lights. The majority of the decor was purchased from Target and the witches were dressed head to toe in small shop creations. After indulging in some tantalizing treats, we rounded up the willing victims for a raucous cackling contest and some bobbing for bat wings (oreos.) No party is complete without a hearty "thank you," and for our guests we provide goody bags sure to facilitate that perfect witchy grin. Sorry mom and dentist...no sugar-free fun here!
