One of my dear friends is having identical twin boys. I racked my brain for a fun baby shower theme, and came up with a wild wild west baby shower. Here's link to the blog post:
I worked with TheGreenGrassGrows on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheGreenGrassGrows), who provided wonderful paper goods like the banner, cupcake toppers, favor tags, and tent cards that feature kids dressed up in cowboys and Native American costumes. I used party items I already owned for the rest of the backdrop, including burlap, feathers, an oil lamp, and toys.
I purchased bandanas, a small hay bale, and twin boy cowboy hats for the table. I created arrows out of ballpoint pens wrapped in floral tape, and cut out feathers from card stock. I made teepee themed favors with candy corn, peanuts, beef jerky, cow tales, and feather slap bracelets.
I made red cupcakes with white buttercream frosting and silver sprinkles. The rest of the food was provided by the families, and included western food such as sloppy joes, potato salad, pigs in a blanket, and punch.
The interesting aspect of this party is that I had less than two weeks to complete it!!
