Party Recap

My daughter wanted to have a Frozen themed 4th birthday party. We thus rented the clubhouse in my neighborhood, and I began the tedious process of planning the perfect princess event.

Decorations
The children sat at 2 tables. One was decorated in royal blue like Anna with tulips as centerpieces, and the other was teal blue like Elsa with glittery snowflakes. The adults were split with half sitting on each side. The adults also had handmade frozen branch centerpieces at their tables.

Princess Corner
I brought my daughters play dresses and dress up armoire for children to use. Hanging in this area was the clothesline with my favor bags.

Specialty Table
I hand pained wooden letters that said "Frozen" . I also purchased all fabric from Hobby Lobby. The wooden plaques were spray painted, and my friend Leslie cut out Anna and Elsa Silhouettes to glue on. My friend Leslie also cut me 20 snowflakes on her circuit, and I hot glue gunned them to the kids drinking cups. The cups also had a paper straw with an Elsa silhouette topper. The purple fans came from Oriental Trading.

Party Attire
My daughters dress was made by Lamb & Ivy Couture. I also had Lamb & Ivy Couture make me a custom "mommy and me" skirt to match.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

The party started at 10am, and thus we decided to serve breakfast from Bagel King. The menu consisted of a hot pancake bar with toppings (strawberries, whipped cream, M&M's), mini bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit, and mini pastries.

  • What People Drank

People drank assorted coffees, juices, and "Frozen" punch which was made out of blue Hawaiian fruit punch, sprite, and vanilla ice cream.

  • Desserts

My mother in law made a "Elsa" doll cake, and we also served cupcakes.

  • Party Favors

I made princess tut bags for all of the girls. There was a choice of 4 bags which were themed (Elsa, Anna, Elsa Coronation, and Anna Coronation). I then individually tagged each bag with the child's name and hung them on a burlap clothesline. The boys received a bottle of "troll snot" aka silly string from Dollar Tree.

  • Activities / Games

I hired Princess Elsa from Arendelle to attend the party. She read a story about Olaf, hosted a sing along to "Let it Go", and played games. Elsa also was present for the cake cutting, and helped pass out bags.
