When Zombies Attack-Lukas 9th birthday

Turning 9 is a big event and one step away from two digit numbers. Since I know he won't want all this fuss forever I tried to make this party extra special. Luka really wanted a Plants vs Zombies party and since his birthday is right after Halloween it was easy to find zombie supplies. I began by choosing our community center as the venue. I booked the game room party. We had one hour in the game room and one in the party room. I set up the party room while the kids finished up in the game room. I put out Zombie jokes on each plate, and placed all the food and decorations out. The kids and parents all had a great time. The jokes, Crazy Dave photo board, brain juice and musical chairs were a total hit. The parents all enjoyed the Crazy Dave "taco stand" and I had nothing left but napkins and straws when the party was over. I was pleasantly surprised at what a hit the party turned out to be.

• What People Ate

  Chips, veggies and fruit trays, pizza and tacos, cake, cupcakes and lots of candy.

• What People Drank

  Zombie brain juice, water bottles and juice boxes

• Desserts

  Home made birthday cake and cupcakes and the sweet tables sugar treats.

• Party Favors

  Sunflower pots filled with Aero chocolate balls and sunflower lollipops. They also received Walnut bags with Zombie mugs, brain erasers and zombies candies.

• Activities / Games

  We played in the game room, had zombie jokes, a Crazy Dave photo board and zombie musical chairs all kept the kids busy for two hours.
